Western Cape Education Department under fire

The Western Cape Education Department has today stated that it is not surprised that the ANC has demonstrated its inability to understand issues of education management and provision.
This follows the ANC today picketing outside the Western Cape Provincial Legislature.
The ANC has stated that the provincial government has closed more schools than what was built.
Education Spokeswoman Bronagh Casey said that those allegations by the ANC are not true and that the department is doing it’s best to better education in the province.
