Lonmin has announced that it would fund the education of children whose fathers were killed in the bloodbath.
The company has set up a help desk at the North West’s Andrew Saffy Hospital after relatives yesterday battled to get information about missing loved ones.
The funding will cover the children’s education costs from primary school to university.
Julius Malema is expected to address the striking workers this morning.
