Metrorail making progress

Western Cape Transport MEC Robin Carlisle on Thursday said he was pleased with the progress Metrorail is doing to improve its services. 

The Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa announced an additional 400 rail police and 500 security guards to be sent to the province before the end of the year. 

Spokesperson Siphesihle Dube said they remain optimistic on the direction Metrorail is taking.

Also adding that Metrorail have been quite proactive in dealing with crime at train stations.
