Metrorail takes a stand against children travelling without tickets

Metrorail in the Western Cape has stated that children who are caught travelling without a valid ticket will be dealt with.

Metrorail’s Regional Manager Mthuthuzeli Swart said that it is Metrorail’s duty to ensure that all commuters irrespective of age travel legally. 

Swart said that it is important that children when they are at the age of having tickets then their parents needs to ensure that they do have.

He added that as Metrorail they have half and full tickets for children depending on their age.
