A New Zealand-based organisation splattered the walls and windows of the South African consulate building in Auckland with red paint yesterday.
The Global Peace and Justice Auckland was protesting against the killing of 34 mineworkers in Marikana, North West.
The group blamed President Jacob Zuma and the ANC-led government for the bloodbath.
An open letter was stuck to the door of the consulate, accusing the South African government of having blood on its hands.
