Houses handed over to Kanana residents

President Jacob Zuma today handed over houses to the residents of Kanana Park in Ext 3 South of Johannesburg.

This follows the visit the president made to the area in 2010.

Spokesperson in the Presidency Mac Maharaj said that the Gauteng provincial government and the City of Johannesburg began building the houses.

Maharaj said that about 3101 houses were built including two sports ground and two primary schools.
