Sadtu disappointed by an assault

The South African Democratic Teachers Union in Mpumalanga said it is shocked and disappointed by the assault of a female learner by a teacher.

The incident happened in eMalahleni at Patriot High School and was widely shown on media.

Sadtu Provincial Secretary, Walter Hlaise said that they want the Department of Education in the province to urgently investigate the incident.

 Hlaise added that the necessary action against the teacher will be taken.
