Yesterday Zuma attended the Roman Catholic Church's annual pilgrimage to Kevelaer in Donnybrook, KwaZulu-Natal.
The Presidency addressed the service.
Zuma was in Marikana in North West yesterday morning where he visited some of the 78 miners wounded in Thursday’s conflict.
He announced that a commission of inquiry would be appointed to uncover the truth behind the tragedy.
