Affirmative Action under the spotlight

The Freedom Front Plus says the African National Congress is distorting the picture of what is really happening with affirmative action in South African by placing emphasise only on the top positions in the economy.

Freedom Front Plus leader Pieter Mulder said the annual Employment Equity Commission report has shown that 55-percent of the country’s top posts are filled by white men.

Mulder also said that these positions do not even make one percent of the country’s economy.

He added that this type of discrimination is worse in the public service.
