Paramedics had to hike up a mountain in KwaZulu-Natal yesterday evening to get to the scene of a light aircraft crash in which three people were killed.
Netcare 911’s Chris Botha says police and the Civil Aviation Authority are investigating the crash of the Beach Craft aeroplane.
Eyewitnesses are quoted as saying black smoke had come from the aircraft before it crashed.
It burst into flames on impact, leaving the charred remains of the victims.
