Government meets on Freeway project

Government plans to meet with all the stake holders in the Gauteng Freeway Improvement Project next week.
This follows theConstitutional
Court ’s ruling on the
implementation of the project.
A spokesperson for the Office of the Deputy President says in a statement that these meetings will be the second and final round of talks on the matter.
The first of these meetings will take place at the Union Buildings on Tuesday between government and the Opposition to Urban Tolling Alliance.
Government says it remains committed to seeking ways of reducing the financial burden of social and economic services to the consumers.
