Metro police weekend operation

City of Cape Town Metro Police officers arrested thirty eight suspects including twenty five motorists for driving under the influence of alcohol.

Police executed operations and crime prevention patrols across the city during weekend. 

Metro Police also assisted the US Secret Service in arresting and conviction of US fugitive. 

Metro Police Deputy Chief Yolanda Faro said they conducted roadblocks in Voortrekker road from Goodwood to Bellville.
