Metrorail launched a GoMetro system

Metrorail has launched a new mobile information system to restore its reputation with commuters.

The cellphone app, GoMetro was launched on Monday and will update passengers about train delays and schedule times.

The founder and creator of the application Justin Coetzee said since the system was launched it has received a positive feedback.

Coetzee added that commuters will directly receive updates on their cellphones and it is free of charge for Cape Town commuters.
