Petrol price to increase again

Reserve Bank Governor Gill Marcus announced that motorists can expect another petrol price hike soon.

Economists say it should be the last increase for the year.

The Efficient Group says the weakness of the Rand and the rise in international oil prices are the main contributors to the continuous increases.

Motorists experienced a hefty increase last in August when petrol was hiked by 93 cents a litre.
