Road fatalities worrying over weekends

The Western Cape Department of Transport has said that road fatality rates have continued to decrease.

But, said that there are warnings of high fatalities at the Start of September over weekends.

Enforcement officers have been instructed not to relax their efforts in curbing their efforts to reduce the number of road accidents.

Spokesperson for the Department Siphesihle Dube said that although the number dropped from 133 to 90 in the last four years the number is still relatively high.
