Wet weather warnings for Cape

The SA Weather Service has warned and advised the City’s Distater Risk Management Centre to be on high alert.

Heavy rain was expected in the Cape Metropole.

Areas like Nyanga, Strand and Khayelitsha where structures were flooded affected over 1000 people and blocked drains and pipes.

Wilfred Solomans-Johannes from the Disaster Risk Management Centre said emergency teams are on alert.
