The Mitchell`s Plain Police on morning Monday were alerted by the public about an unknown body of man lying on the street.
When Police officers arrived at Honolulu Street Hyde Park in Tafelsig they found a burnt body.
Captain FC Van Wyk said that an investigation is ongoing and the motive of the killing is unknown at this stage.
Van Wyk urged members of the public with information to come forward.
