Heavy rain and thunderstorms expected in SA

Heavy rain severe thunderstorms are expected over large parts of South Africa this weekend.

Four people have already drowned in the flooded Eastern Cape’s Nelson Mandela Bay.

The SA Weather Service issued alerts for heavy downpours in the southern parts of the Eastern Cape, and over the Mpumalanga Highveld for tomorrow.

Four people, including a police member, have drowned.
