Today, for the first President Jacob Zuma broke his silence about the controversial revamp of his homestead in Nkandla.

The revamp is reported that it will cost taxpayers more than R200 million.

The Democratic Alliance has called for the upgrade to be debated in Parliament.

DA Communications Officer Cameron Arendse said the Speaker must stop ANC’s Nkandlagate cover-up.

Arendse added that there is growing evidence of a concerted effort by the ANC government to cover up the Nkandlagate scandal, and close down all debate around it.
