Some farmworkers in the Western
Cape have decided to return to work.
This is in the wake of an agreement between workers and government. Farmworkers embarked on a strike for better wages for two weeks.

Carmen Louw said they are in support of farmworkers whether they are back at
work or still striking.
However they agreed to a truce and some of the workers agreed returned to work up until the 4th of December the date which government have agreed to have an answer regarding their minimum wage.
Louw said that the farmworkers will embark on more striking action if there demands are not met on the given date.

Louw added that upon their gathering on Saturday in
Stellenbosch at the Women on Farms offices and they are still unhappy and still
want to continue with their striking action until their demands are met.
