The Boksburg Magistrate’s Court in
Ekurhuleni has ruled that former crime intelligence boss Richard Mdluli had
nothing to do with the murder of his love rival Oupa Ramogibe 13 years ago.
Magistrate Jurg Viviers today withdrew all charges against Mdluli, ruling that there had indeed been a conspiracy against him.
Ramogibe died in Vosloorus in February 1999 after marrying Mdluli's mistress Tsidi Buthelezi.
Mdluli was charged with the crime committed over a decade ago, but this was withdrawn pending the outcome of the inquiry.
