Train incidents under investigations

Authorities are still investigating two separate incidents of train accidents in the Western Cape.

On one incident a 29 year-old woman was injured in Unibell station.

ER 24` Vanessa Jackson said it appears that the lady was trying to board a moving train and the commuters were assisting her but lost grip and she fell between the platform and the train.

Jackson said she was taken to Tygerberg hospital with minor injuries.

On another incident a 27 year-old man was allegedly pushed in front of a moving train in Kraaifontein station.

Jackson said she was severely injured in the head and was also transported to Tygerberg Hospital.

Jackson adds that both incidents are under investigations.
