WC Education department launches online recruiting system

The Western Cape Department of Education has launched a new online system that will make it much easier for teachers to apply for jobs in the province.

The online application system was piloted in 2011 for the filling of promotion posts.

Spokesperson for MEC Donald Grant, Bronagh Casey said teachers will be able to use the system on the department’s website from the 1st of December.

Casey adds that the new system reflects ongoing innovation by the department to improve the way the department recruits their staff.
