Xingwana: Women should not to withdraw abuse cases

Minister for Women,
Children and People with disabilities, Lulu Xingwana says victims of abuse
should be encouraged to stand firm to enable the law to take its course against
perpetrators.
She was speaking inKimberley at the launch of
the 16 Days of Activism against the Abuse of Women and Children.
Xingwana says victims should be discouraged from withdrawing charges.
Yesterday, Xingwana, together with hundreds of children embarked on a march, known as the children's walk, which aims to kick start the 16 days of activism against gender based violence campaigns.
