An accident near Beaufort West has left two people dead

An accident on the N1 between Beaufort West and Lainsburg, pass Prince Albert has left two people dead and one critically injured.

The accident involved a delivery vehicle and a light motor vehicle. 

Provincial Traffic Chief Kenny Africa said this is the second accident within 48 hours on the notorious road between Beaufort West and Lainsburg.

Africa has urged motorists to adhere to the call to not drive if you are not well rested.
