An elderly couple sustained critical
injuries at their home in Trafalgar area
on the Natal South Coast
Reports indicate that the couple in
their eighties was found this morning but their injuries show that they have
been injured since last night.
Netcare Limited Spokesperson Chris Botha said the
couple was treated at the scene and then they were transported to a nearby hospital
for further care.
Botha also said the police are investigating
the incident.
In another incident nine people were
injured in an accident involving two heavy goods trucks and two vehicles at
Amanzimtoti on the N2 in Durban
The series of events leading up to
the accidents are not known.
Chris Botha said one person was
critical injured and the other eight people sustained minor injuries.
Botha adds that all the injured people
were transported to hospital and being stabilized at the scene.
