ANC calls for solution in farmworker strike

The African National Congress today has called for a solution to the on-going farmworkers’ strike in theWestern Cape .
“This was done with a view to bring amicable solutions to coming to the aid to the farmworkers that are present in the strike” Grobler added.

Provincial ANC leader Marius Fransman has
called for goodwill to prevail, and the situation to normality.
ANC says some farmers have shown interest
in on coming back to negotiations.
ANC Provincial Secretary Cobus Grobler said
that Fransman has spoken with all role players including ministers like Labour
Minister Mildred Oliphant, Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing Minister Tina Joemat-Petersen
and Trade and Industry Minister Rob Davies.
