The Department of Communication’s Director General Rosey Sekese has been placed on “special leave” by Communications Minister Dina Pule.

This is after Sekese had misled Portfolio Committee about her performance contract on two separate occasions last year.

Democratic Alliance Shadow Minister of Communications Marian Shinn said that that the DG misled parliament and that act is a criminal offence.

Shinn said “we ask the Minister to take whatever action is necessary”.
