Deputy Minister of International Relations commented on SA signing UN strategic co-operation

On Tuesday, Deputy Minister for International Relations Marius Fransman made remarks on the occasion of the signing of the South African United Nations strategic co-operation framework in Pretoria.

Fransman said South Africa stronglu supports multilateral, rules-based system, as a means of achieving a better South Africa, contributing to a better and safe Africa in a better world.

Fransman added that our objective of a better life for all in SA is therefore closely intertwined with our struggle for a better Africa and a better world for all.

“We are conscious that no nation can provide for the welfare and wellbeing of the citizens in isolation; therefore we are obliged to take into account the welfare and wellbeing of others” Fransman said.
