Icasa Councillor received death threats

The Democratic Alliance Shadow Minister of Communications Marian Shinn has written to the Chairperson of the Parliamentary Portfolio Committee on communications, Erik Kholwane.
Shinn is requesting Kholwane to convene an urgent presentation by the Independent Communications Authority of South Africa into the reported hijacking of councillor Joseph Lebooa and the threats apparently made against him and his family.
Shinn said it is very sad that an Icasa councillor is doing his job but he gets deaths.
She added that the councillor has done some investigations which led to the revelation of licence violation by some companies and this might be related to those reports.
