One person died and another injured in Thursday night accident

Last night Netcare 911 responded to an accident on the N14 Ben Schoeman Highway. 

The accident left one person dead and one person sustained serious injuries.

The exact details to the cause of the accident are unclear and will remain the subject of a police investigation.

Netcare 911’s Santi Steinmann said they found a pedestrian struck by a vehicle, and a passenger sustained serious injuries.

“After the passenger was treated at the scene, he was transported to a nearby hospital” Steinmann added.
