The Democratic Alliance on Friday said it supports the decision by the South African Human Rights Commission to report Free State MEC for Human Settlements Olly Mlamleli and Minister of Human Settlements Toyko Sexwale to Parliament.

The SAHRC said they have requested that both Mlamleli and Sexwale be summoned to explain the failure to enclose open toilets in Moqaka Local Municipality.

DA Shodow Minister of Human Settlements Steven Mokgalapa said we want the explanations from MEC for Human Settlements Olly Mlamleli and Minister of Human Settlements Toyko Sexwale why they have not complied with the South African Human Rights Commission or the court order to enclose open toilets.
