On Monday the MEC of Community Safety Dan Plato visited residents of Kosovo and Nyanga to speak to the residents there about community safety.

This follows the recent vigilante killings in the area.  MEC Plato will be reporting the information he gathered to Provincial Police Commissioner General Arno Lamoer.

Two men were found dead in separate incidents in these townships, it is alleged that these were vigilante killings.

Ministerial Spokesperson Greg Wagner said Plato spoke to the residents and handed out safety information and relevant numbers that they can use to report good or bad policing or any safety concern that they may have.
