North West police still seaching for nine prision escapees

North West Police are still searching for nine prisoners who escaped from police custody on Thursday.

Police Spokesperson Thulani Ngubane said the nine prisoners managed to escape after they over powered a police officer. One of the suspects has already been rearrested.

Ngubane said these are dangerous criminals whom we urge our public not to make any means to confront them personal, but we request them if ever they identify these men they can dialled the 10111 number.

Some of the charges which they are facing include armed robbery house robbery and other serious crimes.
