NW Premier calls for dignity on Human Rights Day

North West Premier Thandi Modise has called for dignity on Human Rights Day. 

To celebrate this day a farmworker who was buried on the side of the road after he was evicted by his employer will be exhumed and reburied with dignity.

Minister for Rural Development and Land Reform Gugile Nkwinti will be part of the ceremony. 

Spokesperson for Premier Modise, Lesiba Kgwele said this reverse negative effect of the 1913 native land act legislation which affected millions of South African.

Kgwele added that it also highlight under development, inequality and a need for land reform.
