An accident claimed the life of an 8-year-old girl

An eight year old girl died when two cars collided in Southfiled, Cape Town.

It is believed that the girl was ejected from one of the vehicles. 

ER24’s Vanessa Jackson said when paramedics arrived on the scene they found the girl lying a short distance away from where the cars were situated.

Jackson said the girl was declared dead on the scene and the injured were transported to hospital.

The exact details to the cause of the accident will remain the subject of a police investigation.
