Netcare 911 paramedics attended to an accident in Bloemfontein
The exact details of the cause of the accident are not known at this stage and will be investigated by the police.
Netcare 911 Spokesperson Santi Steinmann said upon their arrival on scene they found that a light vehicle collided with a motorcycle.
Steinmann added that the 19 year-old motor cyclist sustained critical injuries and paramedics rushed the injured man to a nearby hospital.
