Mossel Bay police offer reward for information on an armed robbery

Da Gamaskop Police are offering a reward for information that will lead to the arrest of suspects wanted for armed robbery that occurred at a business in Voorbaai, Mossel Bay.

It is believed that an employee at was in the kitchen when the suspects entered the premises, with their faces covered, and demanded to be taken to the safe.

Police spokesperson Malcolm Pojie said that the men could not manage to open the safe and took an undisclosed amount of money that were on the table and left, after they tied her feet and arms with shoelaces.

“There was a scuffle outside as other workers arrived at the premises; one of the workers was hit in the head with a firearm, in the process one of the suspects dropped their firearm which was later confiscated” Pojie added.

Pojie also said that the gun will be taken for ballistics at their laboratory to see if it had not been used in other crimes.
