The South African Democratic Nurses Union has shown its support to the call the South African Democratic Teachers Union for the resignation of Basic Education Minister Angie Motshekga.

SADNU believes that the call SADTU is making is based on genuine concerns, so they request the assistance of the working class, the community and COSATU affiliated bodies to join in.

SADNU said that if there is any blame that should be laid about education in the country, it should be at the doorstep of the Minister.

SADNU General Secretary Moeketsi Mohai said they reiterate the call by SADTU that the Minister and the Director General must resign.
