The National Sea Rescue Institute East London volunteer sea rescue duty crew were activated following a request for assistance from the 14 meter motor yacht BALLYHOO reporting to have run aground just outside of the Port of East London .
The incident occurred on Saturday afternoon.
NSRI Spokesperson Craig Lambinon said the Yacht was assisted to ground and then from there needed no further assistance.
Lambinon added that no one was injured and they did not require medical assistance.
