Corruption Watch has launched Air Gupta a campaign as part of an anti-corruption public awareness drive.

The campaign is being used to encourage greater accountability among South Africans.

Corruption Watch said it hopes the campaign will triple the number of reports it receives.

Executive Director of Corruption Watch David Lewis said they have initiated a series of public activations in which the Gupta scandal is used as a way of provoking discussion amongst the public.

“People in public places like taxi ranks and educational institutions like universities and schools to talk about corruption so that the public can be better aware pf what it means and costs; so that we can achieve a better understanding of what the public feels” Lewis added.
