Four men seriously injured after falling into a ditch in Durban

Netcare paramedics this afternoon attended to an incident whereby four workers were left injured after falling into a ditch at a construction site. 

The exact details of the cause of the accident are still being investigated by the police. 

Netcare 911 Spokesperson Santi Steinmann said upon at the scene the paramedics found that four men had sustained serious injuries and one man was trapped under the sand.

Steinmann added that the inured were treated at the scene before being transported to a nearby hospital for further care.
