Golden Arrow Bus Services is set to challenge a high court ruling in favour of the City of Cape Town.

The Western Cape High Court in April dismissed an application by GABS to have the MyCiti bus service expansion halted in Cape Town.

In a statement the bus service said a crucial factor in seeking leave to appeal centers around the interpretation of the National Land Transport Act.

Corporate Development Manager of Golden Arrow John Dammert explains that they have been advised that a reasonable case exists that another court could reach a different conclusion on critical issues and GABS has heeded this council and has submitted an application for leave to appeal this judgement in the supreme court of appeal.
