The African Christian Democratic Party is calling on Western Cape MEC of Community Safety Dan Plato to establish why gang shooting in the province sometimes result in no convictions.

This follows as the seven people were shot and killed on the Cape Flats this weekend.

ACDP leader in the Western Cape Ferlon Christians said the Provincial Police Commissioner Arno Lamoer and the MEC of Community Safety should put heads together to come up with solutions for this continued violence.
