Premier Zille to make announcement to appoint a head for the SIU and the NDPP

A Leader Helen Zille said that the SIU and the NDPP have not had permanent heads for more than a year.

Zille said that this has evidently affected the credibility and effectiveness of our Criminal Justice system, as was seen in the J Arthur Brown matter.

Spokesperson Cameron Arendse explains that Premier Zille will make an announcement regarding the appointment of the head of the SIU and the NDPP.

Arendse added that the premier will highlight this disdain for the criminal justice system has extended to government departments and the DA will outline how to restore the integrity and accountability for the criminal justice system to the people.
