Premier Helen Zille’s Spokesperson Zak Mbhele said Cape Town seeks to become a hub for important growth sectors like ICT’s and the green economy.

Mbhele said that as an example Angola has become the biggest trading partner for the Western Cape as a region, surpassing Mozambique in 2011.

“Given our interest in driving the green economy as well as ICT as growth sectors in the Western Cape, looking much to becoming the leaders in driving those ICT and green economy revolution for the mutual benefits of the Western Cape and our trade partners on the continent,” said Mbhele.
