Correctional Services Minister Sibusiso Ndebele said the biggest challenge facing young people in South Africa today is that they are the generation who will inherit our land, after all of us who belong to yesterday.
Ndebele was speaking at the Youth Pioneers
Conference, as part of the 15th annual African Renaissance Festival 2013 in Durban .
Ministerial Spokesperson Logan Maistry said
the democracy that South Africans enjoy today is because of the youth of 1948
and the youth of 1976 who paved the way.
Maistry added that if the youth of today
can stand together and pursue humanity they can emulate the youth of past
generations.
