6 people died in two seperate accidents

Five people died and four others were injured, one critically this is after a head on collision on the R102 on the Natal South Coast on Sunday. 

Paramedics say the exact details to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain a subject for a police investigation. 

Netcare 911 spokesperson Chris Botha said tyat when they arrived on scene tragically five people have lost their lives due to the very severe injuries they sustained.

Botha addedthat there were three people with serious injuries and one person that had sustained very critical injuries.

“They were all treated on scene and then transported through to various hospitals for furthger care,” Botha said.

Meanwhile in another accident a man died and two people were injured after a heavy goods truck overturned on the N2 near Marburg on Sunday. 

The cause of the accident is still being invetsigated. 

Netcare 911 spokesperson Chris Botha expalins that upon their arrival they found that one man had tragically died on scene before their arrival.

Botha said that two other people sustained serious injuries and were treated on scene and then transported to hospitals in the Port Shepstone area for further care.
