The African National Congress Chairperson in the Western Cape Marius Fransman on Monday visited the Sewende Laan informal settlement in Strandfontein.

Fransman said the conditions that the people in Sewende Laan are forced to live under, is the worst our country has seen.

ANC’s Phillip Dexter said while the ANC visited the area, they observed that people have not been provided with any form of sanitation and they have to cover human wastes in plastic bags.

Dexter added that the DA led government does not care about the people as the people have been complaining about service delivery in the province.
