KwaMakhutha police arrest 38 wanted criminals

KwaMakhutha police arrested a total of 38 wanted suspects in the area over the long weekend. 

This was part of the intelligence drive operation to clean-up their policing area of wanted criminals. 

Captain Thulani Zwane said they are committed to eradicate any form of criminal activities in KwaZulu Natal. 

Zwane said that the suspects were arrested for drunken driving, theft, fraud as well as for in possession of stolen property.

“During the operation they managed to recover three vehicles that were found in other areas and they also recovered some parts of the vehicle as well,” added Zwane.

He also said that all the arrested suspects appeared in the Mubobobo magistrate’s court on Tuesday, facing charges of fraud, theft, assault of the aged as well as being in possession of stolen property.
